Nick Glimenakis is a photographer based in New York City. He grew up in New Hampshire and studied Outdoor Education in northwestern Colorado, making landscapes in the Rocky Mountains as a hobbyist photographer and wannabe park ranger. He has since shifted his focus to the landscapes of design and architecture, working predominantly in the built environment.
Rooted in honesty, he combines thoughtful compositions with a sense of spontaneity, inviting his viewers to share in his surroundings. His work ascends from a documentary foundation and draws from nostalgia, mood, and the everyday.
He reads Into the Wild every winter and loves the ocean. And dogs.
